Overall Impression
Acıbadem Hospital is an excellent clinic with outstanding service, highly professional staff, and incredibly supportive translators. The local Georgian translators working at Acıbadem are wonderful, they were extremely attentive, kind, and helpful throughout my entire visit.
Positive Experience
From the moment I arrived, the local team made me feel well cared for. A special thanks goes to Tsira, the invited translator, who was truly exceptional. She helped me tremendously by organizing my appointments, resolving scheduling issues, and ensuring I could see many doctors on time. Without her dedication, I would not have been able to complete so many consultations efficiently.
I also want to sincerely thank Tamar Melashvili, Natia, and all the Georgian staff at Acıbadem. They went above and beyond in every aspect. These are remarkable professionals who are not only skilled but also deeply compassionate. Their kindness and dedication were the highlight of my experience.
Challenges Faced
Unfortunately, my initial arrangements through external providers in Georgia were very disappointing. Nothing was properly planned when I arrived, not even my appointments with doctors were scheduled. The local hospital staff themselves were surprised by the lack of preparation.
The DGS provider team did not assist me properly. They rarely gave clear answers, often failed to organize transfers or doctor visits, and never informed me in advance about preparations needed for tests. Because of this, what should have been a 2-3 day medical check-up turned into 4–5 days, disrupting my plans. Without the incredible help of the local Georgian staff at Acıbadem, my tests and consultations might have stretched to 10 days or more.
Recommendation
For anyone planning to come to Acıbadem for a check-up, I strongly recommend contacting the hospital directly and avoiding third-party providers. The official hospital team is professional, organized, and genuinely cares about patients.
Conclusion
Despite the challenges caused by external service providers, my overall experience at Acıbadem Hospital was excellent thanks to the local Georgian team. They are an invaluable asset to the hospital, and I am truly grateful for their support.
