Very professional and courteous. Since the first time we talked, we have had detailed information about everything. From the Dr to all the personnel working with him. I made the right choice in choosing my procedure with him and his Associates. Made me feel really comfortable about all the procedures. I strongly recommend Dr Francisco Barrera and his colleagues.👍👍👍👍

These people are by far the most professional and helpful I have ever experienced... The surgeon was super friendly and professional and explained everything really good,, his office assistants were amazing and helpful,, they replied super fast they were super friendly.. they offer packages for hotel and transportation for the people that are coming from out of town.. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who is interested in their procedures... Definitely a 10 out of 10..

We had a great experience. My girlfriend had lap band removal surgery on June 16, 2023. The staff was so friendly and attentive. The surgery went smoothly and her recovery was fast. She was suffering a lot with vomiting and acid reflux due to a slipped band. It was expensive and difficult to find a bariatric surgeon in the USA to do the removal. Thankfully we found Dr. Barrera in Monterrey. We did an online consultation right away and were very impressed. We scheduled surgery and Nydia Barrera helped make all the arrangements. We stayed at the Courtyard Marriott nearby and we drove our own vehicle. I would recommend to take a bus or plane, if you are not experienced at driving in Mexico. They have people there that can taxi you around to make it much simpler. After the surgery we stayed in recovery at the Hospital Swiss. The room was great. She has no acid reflux and has not vomited since the surgery. Before she was vomiting 2 to 3 times per night. Her quality of life is so much better. I want to thank Dr. Barrera and all his staff for doing a wonderful job. I am attaching a photo of my Swiss enchiladas and our recovery room at the Swiss Hospital. It was a great experience.

If you’re having second thoughts about Bariatric surgery in Mexico, don’t! Dr. Barrera and his team not only are top-notch professionals but they make you feel like family! Nydia was wonderful answering all my questions and guiding me literally every single step of the way! Not to mention upon my arrival she was wonderful! In addition, Dr Barrera’s bedside manner is out of this world! This team is truly like no other, you would never find this type of care in the US! I traveled from Dallas to get bariatric surgery and it’s been the best decision ever, so glad I chose this team! The hospital they used and their staff and care was world class treatment. Don’t hesitate, I’ve had several surgeries in the states and the level of care I received in Mexico is truly above all! Thank you Dr Barrera and Nydia for making my experience as amazing as you did! Only 7 weeks post op and I see a wonderful difference!

Dr. Barrera is an excellent Surgeon. He explained everything about my gastric Sleeve surgery in simple words and always checking on after. Surgery.
Also Nydia his assistant make all the process very easy and simple, from my first appointment to the hospital admission until my departure. Also after arriving home she’s happy to assist.
I have a wonderful experience with Dr. Barrera and his entire team.
