Operation ICL (ICL)

The procedure is performed for patients with severe visual impairment, thin corneas and contraindications to laser correction.

ICL is performed through a micro-incision with a diameter of 0.36 mm. Doctors implant a collamer lens on top of the patient's lens. The collamer is not rejected by the body because it is similar in composition to the eye's tissues and can remain in the eye for life.
