I had cosmetic dental work done on two teeth and am very happy with the results. I found Dr. Rakusan to be thorough, caring and professional. I will be back to have more done. The clinic is modern and the staff is friendly. While you wait, the clinic's large aquarium will help you de-stress.

I’ve been going to Dr Rakusan for many years now and he’s amazing! Originally I was sent there for dental surgery by my orthodontist to drill into my jaw and anchor chains to pull up stubborn canine baby teeth, this was successful and thanks to him a have all adult straight teeth. He’s also fixed mistakes from useless previous dentists, he did so by placing a crown on a root canal that dried out and cracked, I was very thankful to him for saving the tooth and avoiding a dental implant, that was 4 years ago and it’s still great 😌. Recently he also fixed my front chipped tooth and it’s perfect! You could never tell it was chipped or that it’s not a real part of my tooth. I highly recommend him as a dentist, he is looking out for your best interest instead of trying to use you as a cash cow like all other dentists I’ve been too, he’s very caring and takes his time to ensure you get the best care. Thank you!

Can't thank Dr Rakusan for the amazing work on my teeth. Have been going here for 3+ years now and always does an amazing job. Isn't like the typically dentist who try to push you to get unnecessary work done. English and Czech speaker so good for locals as well. His assistant is also very nice.

Please take into consideration my advice: choose any other dentist. I just moved to Prague when I went to this doctor. He had to do a filling for a piece of broken tooth. He treated it just such that 9 months later to have a huge infection which led to the death of my tooth nerve and a lot of pain. I urgently went back to my home country to treat it just to see on the radiography with my dentist that he did the filling on the top part of the tooth covering it, but he did not put anything inside the tooth.. he just left a hole inside which got infected. If he f up something so simple I am pretty sure you do not want to be his patient. Another small thing is that I did not want a local anesthesia as I had much worse tooth issues done without, but he really pushed on it and had it done. This anesthesia was for some reason worse then any other tooth anesthesia I ever had (lasted longer, felt very weird). Please do yourself a favor and search for an other dentist Edit per Ben Rakusan comment (the owner): The X-rays my dear doctor showed up what you thought were multiple cavities. I had a phone discussion with my dentist who told me you probably mistaken the already done fillings with cavities due to the material being used that shows up in radiography. I trusted my old doctor and she checked my teeth when I came back in Romania for this tooth fix. We did an xray and we saw the other teeth were ok (I also checked with a 3rd dentist, he agreed my teeth are just fine). Maybe you should have checked those might not have been cavities as I had this material also on some visible parts of the teeth +my teeth were in a good treated condition overall. All around 20 cavities that you told me we have to do didn’t exist (only 1 existed of what you pointed - the deep one but on a totally different tooth then what you treated) as my teeth are totally fine 2 years later without breaking 20 teeth and I have no cavity at all. As mentioned I only did this 1 cavity from what you pointed and 1 that appeared later and my teeth are spotless 2 years later and this is agreed with 2 different dentists Regarding anesthetics you REALLY insisted with it and it was totally unnecessary. You said that I will lose a lot of blood and it is bad without. That you totally recommend with it. I guess you wanted it just to have less blood to clean and easier work. Indeed I gave you consent for it, but only after you pushed it a lot. Btw how comes only your anesthesy was so bad from all I had.. just saying The review is 1 year later because that is when I remembered about your unprofessional ways. I went to my dentist 9 months later when THAT tooth that you fixed got such a big infection it’s root died. THAT tooth on which you did the filling got that big infection in 9 months. No other. Even if I came 10 more times THAT tooth would not have received another treatment as you said it is done. The one tooth that you treated you left a fking hole in it when you did the filling. You are not able professionally to even do a simple tooth filling well. In my opinion you are the worst dentist I have seen (by far)
