There are a lot of flashy, alluring options of dental care clinics in Cancun. But for me, the key element for making a choice is the treating dentist himself.
Dr. Alberto Guevara of DentaVida made himself available by phone to discuss my case, shortly after I had emailed my dental photos and x-rays. He realized how important it can be to have a good sense of what his recommended treatment is and if it resonates favorably with the patient. All before the latter then commits to several days and the travel/lodging expenses of a major trip (from Florida, in my case), with confidence that it will be worth his while.
Dr. Alberto inspired that confidence in me during that not-rushed initial conversation. A conservative approach with several veneers suggested vs all crowns as advised by others.
His staff, I should add, was also very pleasant and helpful.
My reconstruction/restoration went well and the results were very good. As a surgeon myself, with a discerning eye for technical skill, I can tell you he has excellent dexterity. He works expeditiously but without overlooking the details...
