I had a mommy makeover with Dr. Balza about 4 years ago and was totally pleased. No complaints there. A couple years later I decided to have her do my upper and lower blepharoplasty, sadly I am not happy with the results. I’m 43 and I now look 10+ years older than my age. I adore Dr. Balza and her team, I just wish they would have warned me this type of surgery is not her specialty. This ‘after’ pic was taken last week, and 1.5 years after surgery. I hope to give clarity to others who are contemplating eye surgery. Find an oculoplastic surgeon instead. I would give 5 stars for the mommy makeover and 1 star for the eye surgery results. I am going to have to pay thousands of dollars to get my lower eyelids fixed.

I had the greatest experience with Dr. Balza and her team. I had a mommy makeover: tummy tuck, liposuction and bbl as well as a breast lift and augmentation. I consulted with doctors in three countries before choosing Dr. Balza. Her knowledge rivaled the best plastic surgeons in my area of the US, even one who lectures at a local university.
The excellent staff at the hospital coupled with the recovery house provided the best possible experience. I could not imagine having this level of surgery at an out patient clinic and discharged the same day!

This review is long overdue! I’ve been a patient of Dr. Balza for nearly 6 years, and I honestly wouldn’t trust anyone else with my body. She performed my bbl 6 years ago, and to this day, people can’t tell. it looks so natural, sculpted, and athletic. Her work is subtle yet transformative, and she truly has an artist’s eye.
I recently returned for liposuction of my back and “ballet” arms desire, and once again, I’m beyond happy with the results from Dr Balza and her team. She is not only incredibly skilled but also so warm, kind, and truly listens to your goals. She works with you, not just on you and that makes all the difference.
A huge thank you as well to Dana, her amazing coordinator. Dana is a gem. Very sweet, professional, and genuinely caring. She makes sure you’re comfortable every step of the way.
Other honorable mentions, The hospital where Dr. operates, Hospital CER is spotless and top-tier. The nurses and medical assistants are wonderful, attentive, and speak both Spanish and English. I’ve never felt safer or more cared for, even compared to hospitals in the U.S. vanessa her anesthesiologist has been with her for 15 years they create such a safe system and make a wonderful team. It shows.
Everything is prepared for you: your garments, medications, supplies all carefully packed and ready.the food is delicious. It’s unbelievably convenient and takes all the stress out of surgery prep and recovery.
I can’t recommend Dr. Balza and her team enough. They go above and beyond in every way. If you want someone who will listen, deliver stunning results, and care for you like family, this is the one. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! 💛

I cannot recommend Dr. Balza enough. I had a extended TT with 360 lipo and breast lift with implants. I am so happy with my results and as my husband says the breast size and overall result is absolutely perfect for my body. His comments are 'I picked the best surgeon ". I had a TT 20 years ago in Canada and was discharged the same day with follow up in a week at the surgeon office that lasted 10 minutes. There was no other contact or communication and was basically left to heal on my own with no way of knowing if I was healing properly. The experience with Dr. Balza is night and day. Regular ongoing communication on my of healing and being next steps (when to use a step 2 faja, when to use silicone tape, when to remove sutures and drains etc). This communication occurs even after I have come back to Canada with Dr. Balza often checking in on me.
I went to Tijanna as I knew there is world class facilities and accredited surgeons. I am in healthcare and researched the best and safest surgeon for the surgery I was intending to have. The team Dr. Balza works with as a whole is CER is outstanding. I was seen by Anesthesia and then cleared by the Medical director prior to surgery. I know there is trepidation when one thinks of surgery in Mexico but I can assure you the quality of care was exceptional (3*med checks, updated white board, IV and med lines labeled, pharmacy coming to bedside to med rec)...these are all markers of overall commitment to safety. I should also say Norma the coordinator has been invaluable in supporting me in organizing this procedure as well as helping me plan the associated logistics of traveling to a different country for surgery.
