A major scam. Upon arrival, they charge €100 for a simple eye test—one that any optician performs for free. During the consultation with the doctor, various tests are proposed that cost another €500. My eyes were thoroughly examined in the Netherlands for a quarter of that price.

They were quite offended by my review, but I couldn’t explain that they were not transparent at all: you pay for something and only find out afterwards what you actually get. Then they recommend all sorts of tests, and you have no idea what the final outcome will be. It’s extremely non-transparent: they have no price lists available, they don’t inform you in advance about the tests, their costs, or whether they’re optional. You basically start a process without knowing what it will yield or where it will end.
Once again, the examination they did for €100 is something my optician does every two years for free—and much more thoroughly.
So that 500-euro examination, where you have no idea what they’re going to do or what you’ll get in return, they can keep that.
It’s also striking that when I’m at the counter asking what the €100 is actually for, I get no clear answer and no help—yet the moment I leave a Google review, they immediately call me.
