1 star feels generous.
I contacted this clinic with an urgent issue — a painful hole in a back tooth that needed immediate attention. During my first appointment, it turned out the opposite tooth also needed treatment. Fair enough — I scheduled a follow-up to get both fillings done.
Initially, all seemed well… until the filling for the tooth I originally came in for completely fell out. Not ideal, but things happen. I called and they booked me in again, which I appreciated — although carving time out of a packed schedule to lie flat for another hour wasn’t exactly convenient.
And then it went downhill. Fast.
The dentist (Ms. Chang, I believe) was visibly rushing and seemed more focused on getting through the appointment than actually helping. She even attempted to do the procedure without numbing the area, despite it being obviously sensitive and painful. When I flinched, she reluctantly numbed it — and at the end, told me she’d “done her best” and that “it couldn’t be done better.”
Spoiler: it could. The hole I came in with? Still there. Still painful.
I left in more discomfort than I arrived, £300 down, and hours of my time completely wasted. If this is considered their best work, I truly fear what their worst looks like.
And just when you think it couldn’t get worse… enter the receptionist.
An elderly blonde woman named Karen (yes, seriously) who brings a whole new level of rudeness to the role. Passive-aggressive, curt, and downright unpleasant — a terrible first and last impression for any business.
To summarise:
If you're looking to spend hundreds, waste hours, and leave in pain — all while being met with zero care and 'Karen the' receptionist' — then congratulations - you have a winner!

Would highly recommend EH dental.. Solene is wonderful. Extremely professional and nothing felt like it was a bother. Im delighted with the results so far and looking forward to completing my treatment. The dental nurses are fantastic too!

I Was receiving private treatment with dr Chang. Was due to have my last treatment on Monday only to have the rude receptionist named Karen. Phoned and cancel my last appointment due to the practice manager refusing to do any more treatment until my balance is settled after offering a payment plan and taking my first instalment. The teeth I originally went about are the only teeth that have not been treated and were the only reason I went for treatment as I am in pain daily. Now my bite is off and I can’t eat anything and I will be left like this for the next year.

Just amazing. Very attentive, polite and doing everything for your best interest! As many, I have huge anxiety going to dentist and am very sensitive so the always positive attitude of the staff is always assuring I'm in good hands! From start to finish, Dr Helen McEldowney and her assistants make you feel calm and relaxed. I love that each time dentist is walking through the steps she is taking, and doing everything to save your tooth! I had few fillings done now, and no problems at all! On contrary, i had extra care/appointment just to save my tooth from root canal treatment. Today, I been extra sensitive and dentist and her assistant handled it so professionally and at ease, with fun! It also says a lot when you see great communication between staff members! You could see that all staff members love what they are doing and want to do it properly :)

Melissa cares for our whole families teeth. She is brilliant with small children, taking time to make them comfortable if they are nervous and also patient when they are not so nervous! My partner used to have multiple continuous problems and lots of work needing done when visiting a previous dentist but a lot of those problems were solved when they started seeing Melissa. The dental nurses are incredibly knowledgeable and the surgery is impeccably clean and organised. Reception staff are always incredibly polite and accommodating. So glad we have a place here, cannot recommend enough.
