The firefly Retreat is a great place for a Budget Retreat, but also for plenty of cultural activities. The food as well as the Yoga classes were amazing (all led by local Yoga teachers). I can definitely recommend the place, but be aware - it is Budget. Meaning the accomodation is simple and there will definitely be bugs, geccos and other things in your room and outside 😉 thank you for making my stay here a wonderful memory, Ariel, Buda and all the other excellent staff ❤️

So I started my year long backpacking journey with a week at the firefly retreat and I'm so glad I did! It was such an amazing experience. There were so many activities, the Balinese excursion was incredible and all the cooking classes! My massages were lovely and Arielle was the perfect host. Met incredible people there that will be life long friends 😊 The yoga instructors were all brilliant, perfect for beginners and people with more experience 🧘🏼‍♀️thank you firefly retreat for the perfect start to my travels 🥰♥️

Firefly retreat is an amazing escape - daily yoga, amazing food, nice pool, kind people. This is a budget retreat in the rice terraces - rooms are basic but beds are comfy. Bring (or buy in town) all your own soaps. Activities are lots of fun, well planned and thought out and there is still time for adventures to town and personal time. Massages were AMAZING. Highly recommend this retreat. Ariel is a lovely host, he really cares about the guests and went out of his way multiple times to help us with anything we need. If you are thinking about doing it - DO IT! come with a positive attitude and you will make friends easily. Thank you to the whole Firefly Team for an amazing week, I will never forget it.

I’ve had the pleasure of attending Firefly Retreat twice, and both experiences were absolutely amazing. What stands out the most for me is the warm, family-like atmosphere that makes you feel at home from the moment you arrive. The food is simply incredible and the yoga program is beautifully designed, offering the perfect balance between challenge and relaxation. One of the things I love most about Firefly is the sense of community it creates. It’s such a wonderful opportunity to meet like-minded people, and both times I attended, fellow participants have become true friends. If you’re looking for a retreat that combines connection, great food, and inspiring yoga in a welcoming environment, Firefly is the place to be ❤️

Thank you to everyone at Firefly Yoga Retreat! The staff is incredible, the yoga teachers are truly inspiring, the location is beautiful, the food is delicious, and the sense of community is absolutely heartwarming. I highly recommend this retreat to beginner and intermediate yoga enthusiasts, as well as solo travellers. We were introduced to different styles of yoga, breathwork, and meditation techniques, and the schedule also included excursions, cooking classes, and workshops—all thoughtfully organized.
