Brought our mother for treatment from abroad with life-threatening heart condition, stayed for a month for pre-surgery treatment and post-surgery recovery. Prof. Mehmet Salih Bilal and Dr. Sencer Akdeniz are top-notch surgeons! Not only they saved our mother’s life, but also showed kindness and genuine care. She was also observed by Prof. Ömer Yiğiner, a wonderful and professional cardiologist. The nurses are very kind and knowledgeable! Special thanks to Ayşe, Salma, Yavuz from the cardiology patient care for their kindness and diligence! We also would like to thank the cardiology ICU nursing team, who watched after our mother tirelessly after surgery. This is a great hospital, very well run, clean, with state of the art medical equipment. Thank you to Cazgul and Guldeniz for coordinating our stay.

Medicana Ataşehir doesn’t have a baby bad. Unfortunately they are not aware of baby beds that they exits in the world :( And it is overcrowded. Turkey is known with its good quality of hospital sector. Unfortunately Medicana is not one of those hospitals. Hope things will be better there. I need to mention that they have good doctors.

Very good service, positive staff and excellent doctors. Especially Dr Murat Yalçın( Cardiologist) very knowledgeable! and friendly. Ms Elçim , check up coordinator is also very professional and get things done on the spot. Ms Serpil who collects blood is the best I’ve ever seen, no pain at all! Recommend this hospital

I called and made an appoinment to visit the Obgyn department on 3rd August 2024 but when I came for the check up the front desk lady told me that they no longer receive any foreigner with insurance eventho I currently still have an active private insurance and I have an actuve family resident permit. She told me if I want to continue with the check up I have to pay around 5 thousand liras. I went to many private hospitals in Istanbul and NEVER experiened such treatment and my insurance was always accepted with no problem. The front deks lady at the Obgyn department also told me that this is the latest regulation of the Turkish government, but then my Turkish husband called both our insurance company and Turkish health ministry department and they told us there is NO such regulation and requested us to file a complain for the unpleasant treatment. Anyway, I went to another bigger private hospital that day and they accepted my insurance with no problem and I finally got my pregnancy check up properly. Dear Medicana hospital if your intention is to rip off foreigners money you better come clean. We dont pay a huge amount of money every month to our private insurance for nothing.

That’s a good place to waste money and get no treatment at all. If you have dermatology problem, please, go to another hospital. Doctor Zeyneb Gürbüz doesn’t know how to do cryotherapy, doesn’t know how to help people. Maybe she is a fantastic cosmetologist, but I find no other reason for her to work in such a huge and expensive place. She was not even going to give me any prescription until I asked for it specifically. Doctors charging 1700 TL for an appointment and 4000 TL for one procedure MUST give you at least a piece of advice. This doctor had no interest in my problem. I made a mistake giving it a second chance and paying another 4000+1700 TL for a second visit. In total I spent 11400 TL here and saw no improvement of my health, although the procedure was very easy – it was just done incorrectly by the doctor. I did this procedure about 15 times in my life and that one was the least effective of all. Doctor told me my papilloma will go after the second procedure. No, they didn’t. Not even one. The receptionist also made a mistake and tried to charge me a full price for the appointment, saying that my insurance company refused to cover the half. I had to call my insurance twice to learn that actually my insurance company was ready to pay for me, the receptionist just couldn’t find the approval in their program and was asking me “What are we going to do?”, waiting for a solution from me, expecting me to pay the full price. I also sent a complaint about this case on the 12th of February to the main office but didn’t hear back from anyone in this clinic.
