Subject: Inquiry Regarding Doctor’s Note Issued by Dr. Antonio Costanz Dear Hospital Representative's Istitute Clinico Humanitas, We are reaching out with a serious concern regarding a potential integrity issue or ethical violation involving one of your doctors, Dr. Antonio Costanz. It has come to our attention that Dr. Costanz issued a doctor’s note for Ms. Albertina Pisano, which she used in an attempt to obtain a refund for a non-refundable hotel booking. However, based on our records, Ms. Pisano was physically located in Yogyakarta, Indonesia, at the time she claimed to be ill, while the doctor’s note originated from Italy. Given these inconsistencies, we kindly request your hospital to verify whether Albertina Pisano is an actual patient of Dr. Costanz and whether this medical certificate was issued following proper medical protocols. If this note was provided without a legitimate doctor-patient relationship or proper examination, it could raise serious ethical and professional concerns. We appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and look forward to your response.

I had the most horrible experience ever in this hospital. I waited 6 hours in the emergency room in a tremendous pain. After 6 hours of waiting, doctors put me in a room in the emergency unit, running tests. I was in this room overnight. The lights couldn’t be turned off, there were on all night long, those white hospitals neon lights with a lot of noise. I was visited by a group of 5 doctors on and off. All this time they wouldn’t give me anything for my stomach excruciating pain. After I was transferred to a private room where doctors were coming in and out, still no pain medication. I was in for 4 days, when I requested to be released because I was not giving any pain medication. The last 2 days I was visited by this short, skinny man doctor with the omnipotent behaviour. I wish I would have his name, to put it out here because he was abusing his doctor power (as if there is such a thing). He was horrible. He told me the first time he got into my room “to stand up and undress”. Such a humiliation! Disgusting! On the 4th day I demanded to be released. It was the most horrific experience I ever had in a hospital! Inhuman! Horrible everything, starting with the emergency room (the bathrooms were disgusting with patients blood, where I was supposed to take the test urine), hours and hours of waiting, doctors abusing their power. Horrible!!!!

Thanks to the government of italy and the hospital staff... An urgency occurred but they helped immensely right after we reached the emergency department.. it was crowded and we had to wait 4 or 5 hours but it is what it is (an emergency dept)

I had high expectations before coming to this hospital. Yes, it is a huge, clean and modern hospital, but the medical check experience was, by far, one of the most unpleasant. I would point out some of the negative aspects (regarding doctor-pacient relation) such as: lack of empathy, incapacity to answer to all my questions, vague responses such as "I prefer so" with no arguments whatsoever. I left that place the same as I came, knowing the exact things that I knew about my disease and with no perspectives.

I am being treated at Humanitas Cancer Center since 2 years. I value cleanliness and correct service. The staff at the reception and the nurses are polite. I especially appreciate Dr. Masci Giovana for kindness and professionalism. She is exceptional, always ready to listen and answer whenever I need her help. Sei un vero tesoro Dr. Masci.
