The Center uses contemporary diagnostic and treatment methods in the field of cardiovascular disorders. Medical data is collected through echocardiography, Holter rhythm measurement, event/loop recording and tilt table composing. These procedures allow to achieve up to 100% diagnosis accuracy. If needed, each patient will be monitored constantly, during extended periods of time. Professor Dr. Sadık Yildirim. The Professor Sadic specializes in oncological surgery of digestive system and endoscopic procedures. Doctors of the Department use the most advanced options for cancer treatment and rehabilitation. Among them are 3D-radiotherapy, combined with IMRT data, chemotherapy, and hormonal therapy. During treatment time any patient is monitored by the Medical Oncology Department, that ensures each patient is treated in full accordance with their disease. Rehabilitation methods and supplemental treatment are also administered according to Treatment Planning Systems (TPS). TPS is a unique system designed by Kolan physicians to enhance healing processes. That allows achieving the highest recovery rate.

Asst. Assoc. Dr. Tulin Coskun is a leading specialist in the Neurology Department. The doctor has over 15 years of experience in treatment, participation in multiple conferences and numerous scientific publications. Dr. Tulin Coskun specializes in neurophysiology, sleep disorders, headaches, cerebrovascular diseases and movement disorders.

The Neurology Department utilizes advanced technology methods to diagnose and treat epilepsy, such as long-term video-EEG examination, MR, PET-CT and SPECT tests. Electromyography is performed to diagnose various neuronal malfunctions: limb stiffness, trembling, pain symptoms. The Department uses wide range means of brain scanning: MRT-imaging, echocardiography, extracranial doppler analyzing. In case of emergency or if a patient is in critical condition, such as coma or stroke, the Department provides treatment and rehabilitation routines in intensive mode.

Prof. Dr. Ahmet Dogan - scientist and physician, honored professional in orthopedics. With work and research experience of more than 25 years, Dr. Ahmet has also been participating in nearly all professional courses since 1998 (EPOS MEETING, Pediatric Orthopedics Course, Turkey Orthopedics and Traumatology Society).

This Department specializes in treating various sports and age-related injuries, knee prosthesis surgery, pediatric orthopedics, oncologic surgery, scoliosis, and spine surgery. Doctors apply knee and hip prosthesis to treat orthopedic disorders. Physicians from this Division also put a lot of their effort into the treatment of childhood orthopedics pathologies such as dysplasia, Perthes disease, myelomeningocele, etc. To diagnose injuries, specialists apply computer tomography, ultrasonography, and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). If the injury is not severe, doctors use bandages and local pain-relievers to ensure safe restoration. To treat more serious traumas, physicians have to perform closed or open surgical intervention. Closed type is a less traumatic method which does not require skin incision, puts patient’s body under less stress and makes recovery faster.

Dr. Serdar Sürmeli specializes in removing eyelid tumors, tear canal diseases, chorioretinitis, retinal rupture and others. Dr. Serdar is experienced and trained professional, has a lot of publications and science articles to his name.

The Department’s primary focus is contact lens projecting, detection of refraction defects utilizing modern diagnostic and treatment technologies. Ocular Trauma and Infection Division provides a removal of various types of eye damage. This Unit also provides rehabilitation measures for patients who need to recover their eyesight.
