I would absolutely recommend Dr Gülten Karasu for child care, she’s really amazing, I have only words of praise for that woman. !!!
I’ve had been pregnant and gave birth in this hospital, here’s my experience. At all cost avoid Dr Mine, she doesn’t really care and doesn’t get in depth about anything. She talks too much to try to make you feel comfortable I assume, but anything of relevance will go past her. 0/10.
I have been to more than dozen doctors during pregnancy and I would recommend this hospital over others in Tuzla,Pendik,Maltepe 100%.
But I also would NOT recommend this hospital if you want to have natural delivery. They don’t have the experience for it, as most women choose to have a C section. I nearly gave birth on my own in the room; when they finally moved me into the delivery room I only had two contractions and the baby came. The doctor needed to remove the placenta and she got overwhelmed, my husband needed to lightly slap her because she started to faint on me. She didn’t give me any kind of anesthesia (although epidural was already inserted; they easily could’ve done it) so she was first trying to remove my placenta with her hand two times which caused me excruciating pain, then with vacuum pump then with those spatulas all extremely painful; post delivery; no anesthesia. I felt like in the medieval times. It was extremely traumatic.
I cannot say, after everything, that I blame her. She doesn’t have the experience with the natural delivery, she was very young and did her best. Post partum care, the attitude of the nurses and doctors was all great, I cannot complain about anything. If I had chosen to have a C section I believe my experience in this particular hospital would’ve been better, but we will never know.
Gynecologist Emine Eray 100/10, Hatice Korkmaz, Zeynep were worth recommending.
Endocrinologist was also alright, I wouldn’t and didn’t change a doctor while living in turkey.
Internal medicine doctor Rıdvan and Dr Ali AZIZLI were very applied and curious and attentive, I had pleasant experience with them; but doctor Ramadan Yunus GUL - AVOID THIS MAN AT ALL COST HAHAHA, I’ve been for a check up at this man for the first time in my life he had been trying to convince me that he had seen me last week, he REMEMBERS, and refused to listen to any of the symptoms I tried to tell him, he didn’t believe me he never saw me till my husband told him we indeed came the first time. Is he okay? Avoid. 0/10.
And one of their radiologist is racist, he was making negative comments to my husband who is Turk about my country where I come from and tried making fun of me, my country and cracking jokes to my husband in front of me. If I weren’t pregnant and tired, I would’ve reported him to the management. Awful experience.
Their translators are angels, wonderful pleasant and professional women. All praise for both I had been in touch with.
So all in all. 4 stars. It’s a hit or miss.
They have great doctors and nurses, and also really strange and indolent ones. But still I have a very pleasant experience with this hospital compared to others I have been in in Istanbul, so I still absolutely recommend it especially in the far Asian side of Istanbul.
