I’m from Canada, and like most people considering a hair transplant, I first looked at Turkey and Bangkok. When I got to Chiang Mai, I visited a few of the “top” clinics that looked great on paper — glossy posters, glowing reviews — but the vibe felt off. Too salesy, too transactional.
Then I found MP Clinic. From the first visit, it was different. The doctor, the staff, even the owners — everyone treated me like a human being, not a number. No push, no pressure. Just straight professionalism and genuine care.
Now, after actually going through the procedure and recovery here, I can say this: it’s a no-brainer choice compared to the others I visited. They went above and beyond at every step, and made what could have been a stressful process into something I’m actually grateful for.
MP Clinic is a hidden gem in Chiang Mai. If you’re researching like I was, save yourself the second-guessing — this is the place.

I don’t usually leave negative reviews, but my experience at MP Clinic was truly disappointing, by far the worst hair spa I’ve ever had. Wished I could give zero star.
From the moment I arrived, it was clear the staff just wanted to finish up and go home. There was no explanation about the treatment and just straight into the room. The treatment itself was unpleasant: cold water throughout the treatment without warning, a painful head massage, and rough handling that felt like it ripped out a good amount of my hair.
Two staff members rushed through the drying process, tugging aggressively and clearly hurrying to wrap things up. What was supposed to be a 90–120 minute treatment ended early with a serum injection, a 10-minute laser, and then: “You can go to the counter now.” When I came to the counter, the whole team were there waiting. It was very uncomfortable and they immediately close the shop the moment Ieft. Their operating hours say it closes at 7pm, and my appointment was supposed to end by 6pm but it ended before 530pm. So I'm definitely not dragging their shift hours or causing them to work overtime.
I genuinely don’t know how they have so many 5-star reviews but maybe only from locals. If you’re a foreigner, I’d strongly advise avoiding this place. Worst decision I made on this trip.

This hair transplant institution is very responsible. Three weeks after the transplant, thick hair has grown in the transplant area, which makes me very happy. I had a follow-up visit today. Not only did they continue to wash my hair for free, they also gave me four bottles of hair care essence. They continued to follow up until my hair grew longer, which was very touching.
