It was a very bad experience.. I did the operation ( relax smile technique) two years ago.. .. I started to have pain in my eyes after the operation directly till now.. My eyes become very dry, pain when I use the phone or TV, and I can't see clear till now.. I tried to take appointment for follow up after my bad result, but the responsible girl for appointment didn't reply my messages..I have SGK But they didn't make any discount. They take 2200 €Euros and the girl called Mais told me we don't have discount for SGK. I don't recommend at all.

If you’re a foreigner (tourist or resident) avoid this place, first we called and spoke turkish with them, the checkup price was 1100₺. However, when they learned i was a foreigner (even though im a student resident) the price somehow went up to 2300₺. Claiming its insurance costs, and i do have insurance.

I Did the relex smile eye laser operation here, perfect view from the next day onwards! After some research i found several eye laser clinics in Istanbul. I choose this one for no specific reasons. The clinic looks very modern, with high standards and knowledgeable doctors. On Friday morning the pre check was performed. My eyes were only capable for the relex smile procedure. So in the afternoon the operation was carried out. After the operation the view is bad (obviously) but the day after it was great! The post check was performed on Saturday with good care. I got some medicines against potential infection and some artifical eye drops. In Saturday afternoon I already went for some sightseeing. Highly recommended to laser your eyes if that is possible. I had a great experience in the Bati Goz eye clinic! My eyes were both -2.

Clinic is all right and clean, good location too, easy and cheap to reach from Sultanahmet - 20 min and about 200 turkish liras My displeasure was with the fact that upon my arrival at the clinic for smile eye surgery, they asked me to pay 1800 dollars (the price the surgery) upfront without performing the consultation first. I had to insist to speak with the Doctor before my surgery and that I wouldn't pay just yet - they let me speak to the Doctor eventually, performed the consultation, and discovered, alas, that they couldn't do it because I had some other issues with my eyes. So in the end it didn't cost anything because I wasn't eligible for the surgery. Good thing I didn't pay when I arrived, innit? So, if they ask you to pay before performing any service, just insist that you'll pay at the end
