I had to go to urgent care and I was able to see the doctor pretty quickly. They took blood tests and other tests. It took ~3 hrs to get the results and get discharged but the doctor was very kind. It's always scary having to go to a hospital in a foreign country and esp when you don't speak the language. We used Google translate the entire time and the doctor did everything he could to make me feel at ease and be kind. Ofc the bill was hefty but tbh this kind of thing in the US out of pocket would be 5X the amount.

My partner and I went in to get a COVID test.
The service was terrible. We were sent around and redirected over and over again and given incorrect information. We waited for over an hour to pay. Something that should have taken 5 minutes turned into an entire morning. No one seemed to communicate or care.

I had no issues, but my doctor helped with registration and with getting an accurate bill. Room was clean, nurses were all responsive, and food was good ( and they were accommodating to my preferences). If my doctor had not helped to smooth the process with registration etc.. I might have had a different experience. They also fixed the medical issue that I had so no complaints from me.

Unfortunately the hospital staff seem to have the only goal of making as much money off you as possible, recommending exams and treatments that are not needed or very, very excessive. On top of that, their professional knowledge is so poor I had a X ray technician and a doctor telling me I have a condition by which my organs are on the opposite side of where they should be because they were looking at my X rays flipped the wrong way around. In short avoid if you can!

WOULD RECOMMEND We went here for what we thought was a broken ankle. The staff was great and very patient with us even with the language barrier and while we were on the phone with insurance. As a foreigner I would strongly recommend this emergency room. It was very clean and we were helped quickly and efficiently.
