Dr. Alexander M. Rokitansky is a pediatric and adolescent surgeon and a pioneer of minimally invasive correction of pectus excavatum. He oversaw the creation of the pediatric surgery department at University Hospital Vienna from 1992 to 1994. He then led Pediatric and Adolescent Surgery at Klinik Donaustadt for 27 years, from 1994 to 2021. He chaired the Society for Pediatric Surgery and Intensive Care.
