Dr. Antanas Mickevicius is a highly experienced Bariatric surgeon with 30 years of experience and qualifications from the Kaunas Medical University. He is trained in Sweden, the UK, and the Netherlands and performs over 200 bariatric surgeries in the UK and Lithuania every year. He specializes in Gastric Bypass, Gastric Sleeve, Gastric Plication and other procedures, treating conditions such as Morbid Obesity and Being overweight. He is a member of the Lithuanian Society of Bariatric and Metabolic Surgery and International Federation of Surgery for Obesity (IFSO).
Dr. Diana Maldžiūtė is a board-certified plastic and reconstructive surgeon. She is a member of the European Academy of Facial Plastic Surgery and the Lithuanian Medical Association. She practices at Šiauliai Republican Hospital since 2023. She will also practice at Meliva Kardiolita Hospital in Vilnius from 2025. She previously worked at Vilnius City Clinical Hospital, Molėtai Hospital, Nordclinic, and the National Cancer Institute.
Her training includes facelift surgery in Coventry in 2025 and nerve surgery in Utrecht in 2025. She trained in aesthetic facial surgery and rhinoplasty in Dundee and at King’s College London with Dr. Yücel in 2024. She completed oncology and brachial plexus practice in India in 2024. She studied peripheral nerve and hand dissection in Copenhagen in 2023. She trained in flap raising in Bochum and Tampere in 2022–2023. She completed microsurgery at the Pius Branzeu Center in 2021. She also trained in ultrasound and ENMG, aesthetic surgery, and breast surgery in Lithuania in 2024–2025.
