Ali Riza Cenk Celebi

Prof. Ali Riza Cenk Celebi is a professor at Acibadem University and an ophthalmologist at Istinye University Liv Hospital Topkapi. He completed a glaucoma fellowship at Harvard Medical School and the Massachusetts Eye & Ear Infirmary in 2016. Celebi has authored 58 international articles and 15 books on eye health.

Specialization & Clinical Focus

Prof. Celebi performs surgical interventions for glaucoma and corneal diseases. He uses Minimally Invasive Glaucoma Surgery (MIGS) and seton implant procedures – which involve placing tiny tubes to drain fluid – to treat eye pressure. The doctor also provides limbal stem cell transplantation and keratoplasty for corneal disorders.

He treats lacrimal duct disorders using scarless endoscopic DCR techniques. This procedure creates a new path for tears to bypass a blocked duct without external incisions.
