Cenan Oktay

Dr. Cenan Oktay is a general surgeon at Asyaesthetic Clinic specializing in bariatric procedures. He was the first surgeon in Turkey to use Valtrac rings – devices that connect segments of the intestine – for gastrointestinal surgery. Professional Experience

Dr. Oktay started his surgical career with an internship at Heidelberg University in Germany. He trained under Prof. Dr. ch. Herfarth, the Head of Surgery Clinics at the time. After his residency, he joined the General Surgery Department at Istanbul University for four months. He focused specifically on liver and bile tract operations during this period and conducted experimental studies. Currently, he treats international patients at Asyaesthetic Clinic in Istanbul.
