Igli Mecuku

Dr. Igli Mecuku is a specialist in periodontology and oral implantology at Unident Clinic. He took first place at the IV Russian Student Olympiad in Propaedeutics of Oral Surgery in 2009. Dr. Mecuku holds the diploma of Medical Researcher and Lecturer–Researcher.

Oral Surgery & Advanced Implantology

Dr. Mecuku treats conditions including periodontitis and paradontosis — a severe gum disease that causes tooth loss and bone destruction. He performs tooth extractions of all difficulty levels and apical surgery. The specialist uses Platelet-Rich Fibrin (PRF) techniques to help patients heal faster by using their own blood cells. He also performs sinus lifting and bone reconstruction in atrophic areas.

The doctor creates full smile rehabilitations using international implant systems. He provides immediate implantation after extraction and places orthodontic mini-implants. Dr. Mecuku also performs soft tissue augmentation around natural teeth and implants.
