Okay Abaci

Dr. Okay Abaci is a professor of cardiology at Biruni University Hospital. He performs interventional procedures for cardiovascular and peripheral arterial diseases. Dr. Abaci has over 100 domestic and international scientific publications in his field.

Specialization and Interventional Focus

Dr. Abaci treats various heart and vascular conditions. He focuses on heart and leg angiography. This allows him to perform operations for coronary artery disease and atherosclerosis. Additionally, he treats patients with hypertension, arrhythmia, and dilated cardiomyopathy.

He performs various surgical techniques to address vascular and valve issues:

• Coronary and carotid angiography
• Radiofrequency ablation with 3D mapping – a technique using electrical energy to treat irregular heartbeats
• Heart cryoablation – a procedure using extreme cold to treat heart rhythm disorders
