Dr. med. Wojciech Gackowski is a graduate of the Medical Academy in Warsaw and a specialist in general surgery.

Education

After graduating from the Medical Academy in Warsaw in 1983 and completing his specialist examination in general surgery, he worked as an Assistant Professor at the Department of General, Transplantation and Liver Surgery at the Medical Academy Hospital on Banacha Street. In 1997, he obtained his PhD degree in medical sciences.

Work experience

For many years, he served as Head of the Department of General Surgery at the Hospital in Grójec, and subsequently as Head of the Surgery Department at St. Anne’s Hospital in Piaseczno. He currently holds the position of Head of the Department of General Surgery at the Hospital in Grójec once again.

He has extensive experience in liver surgery, biliary tract surgery, and gastric cancer treatment. He performs a full range of general surgical procedures, including laparoscopic abdominal surgery and thyroid operations.
