Dr. Riss is known for his expertise in thyroid and neuroendocrine tumor surgery. He has made important contributions to the field of endocrine surgery.

Dr. Riss received the Venia Docendi Award in 2017 and the Sandoz Award for Thyroid Research in 2010. He has organized international congresses and published many scientific papers. He is a member of respected organizations, such as the European Society of Endocrine Surgeons and the International Society of Surgery.

Professor Gerhard Prager is a highly experienced bariatric surgery specialist with over 3,000 operations for obesity treatment. He is the head of the Obesity Outpatient Clinic in Vienna General Hospital and head of the Metabolic Surgery Center in Confraternitaet Private Hospital.
