- Dr. Itzhak Fried is a renowned neurosurgeon and neuroscientist who graduated from Stanford University and trained at Yale University. He specializes in advanced brain surgeries, epilepsy treatment, deep brain stimulation, functional brain mapping and epilepsy-related vascular malformations treatments. He is also known for his innovative approach to study the nature and development of epilepsy seizures, modern programs for management of patients with epilepsy, and new methods for recovery speech and memory disorders. He currently practices at Ichilov Hospital, Tel-Aviv Medical Center and teaches at David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA and Yale University.
