Dr. Arnon Nagler is an internationally recognized hematologist and bone marrow transplant expert. He is a Professor of Medicine at Tel Aviv University. Prof. Ido Nachmany heads the Second Surgical Department at Sheba Medical Center. He specializes in HPB and robotic surgery for diseases of the liver, pancreas, and bile ducts, and for gastrointestinal neuroendocrine tumors. He also performs adrenal, spleen, and stomach surgery. Forbes listed him among Israel’s top physicians.

Dr. Almog Ben-Yaacov is an Attending Surgeon in the Department of General and Oncological Surgery (Surgery C) at Sheba Medical Center. He specializes in cytoreductive surgery (CRS) with hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC). His clinical focus includes gastric cancer, sarcoma, and complex colorectal malignancies. Since 2018, he has performed more than 200 HIPEC procedures.

Prof. Amit Tirosh is a senior endocrinologist and Head of the Neuroendocrine Tumors Service at Sheba Medical Center. He specializes in neuroendocrine tumors (NETs).
His work centers on hereditary NET syndromes. He is affiliated with the NIH in MEN1 research. He serves on an international VHL expert panel and helped write VHL management guidelines. He is the primary contact at Sheba’s multidisciplinary VHL clinic.

Dr. Irina Stepfansky is an oncologist and internal medicine specialist at Sourasky Medical Center. She has more than 25 years of clinical experience. Since 2015, she has directed the Oncology Hospitalization department. Dr. Stepfansky earned her medical degree from Grodno University in Belarus. She completed advanced oncology training at Tel Aviv Medical Center.
Dr. Stepfansky has been licensed in Israel since 2000. She has led and participated in many phase I-III oncology clinical trials. Her work has helped improve cancer care and patient outcomes. She is recognized for her expertise in both internal medicine and oncology. Dr. Stepfansky has a strong record in research and clinical leadership.
Coping with gastrointestinal and lung cancer without chemotherapy. Specialists at the Tel Aviv Sourasky Clinic (Ichilov) use an ultra-modern innovative method to combat neuroendocrine tumors. It is based on radionuclide therapy with the radioisotope Lutetium 177 (Lutetium-177). This innovation is a real breakthrough in oncotherapy, because in recent decades the number of cases of this type of cancer has been rapidly growing.
This method is completely new in the world. Today it exists only in Israel, Germany and Sweden.
Its essence is in the use of a new radiopharmaceutical - Lutetium 177 PRRT. The drug is administered intravenously at intervals of 7-8 weeks. With the help of Lutetium, cancer cells are destroyed selectively, without affecting healthy tissues of the body. That is, this method of treatment can literally be called "local radiation therapy". In addition, the drug does not have a toxic effect on the bone marrow and kidneys, destroying the tumor from the inside.
In addition, the use of this method allows patients to avoid severe side effects of chemotherapy, such as vomiting, nausea, pain, alopecia, weakness. It is also important that the treatment is carried out by a special group of medical specialists. Among them: leading doctors, nurses and medical physicists!
All of them work under the supervision of Dr. Inna Ospovat, a leading specialist in the nuclear therapy department at the Ichilov Clinic.

Dr. Auala Hubert is a board-certified medical oncologist and radiotherapist with 33 years of clinical experience. She works at Hadassah Medical Center and speaks both English and Hebrew. Dr. Hubert leads the Gastrointestinal Cancer Center. She is also a senior physician in the Oncology Department.
She earned her M.D. from Hadassah University Hospital. She holds board certifications in oncology and radiotherapy. Dr. Hubert has passed USMLE Parts I and II. He completed clinical and research fellowships in GI oncology and cancer epidemiology at the University of Pennsylvania. He also completed electives at MD Anderson and Mayo Clinic. He founded the ECOG-ACRIN Microbiome Working Group. His microbiome-oncology research has been published in leading journals, including Science, and highlighted by ASCO.
He developed predictive models for early diagnosis of colorectal and pancreatic cancers. These models are now in clinical evaluation. He holds an academic appointment at Tel Aviv University. He is also an Associate Scholar at the University of Pennsylvania.
