Dr. Bella Koifman is a highly experienced and qualified cardiologist, specializing in the study and treatment of various types of heart disorders. She has extensive experience in research and clinical practice, and is currently the Head of the Department of Echocardiography of the Department of Cardiology at Hospital Ichilov in Tel Aviv, Israel.

Dr. Finkelshtein Arik is an experienced interventional cardiologist. He specializes in complex heart procedures, including coronary artery bypass grafting, aortic aneurysm surgery, and transcatheter aortic valve implantation. He is known for his research on high-risk patients with severe aortic stenosis. Dr. Arik has also introduced advanced technology in aortic valve replacement.

He has performed over 100 successful catheterizations using new aortic valve replacement methods. These techniques provide minimally invasive options instead of open-heart surgery and improve patient recovery. Dr. Arik is a member of the Israel Medical Association, the Israel Heart Society, and the European Association of Percutaneous Cardiovascular Interventions (EAPCI).

Education, training and advanced training courses

1984-1992 - received higher medical education at the Medical Institute in Rostov-on-Don (Russia).

2014-15 – advanced training in the field of heart valve correction and replacement in Austria, Belgium and Lithuania .

2011-2012 — completed clinical training in cardiothoracic surgery at the Marie Lannelongue Medical Center (Paris, France), one of the most renowned European clinics specializing in the replacement of heart valves and arterial vessels, bypass surgery and correction of congenital heart defects.

2010-2018 - worked as a cardiac surgeon at the Sheba Medical Center (Tel Hashomer, Israel, including at the Children's Hospital. In 2018, he was appointed head of the aortic surgery unit.

2002-2010 — completed residency in cardiothoracic surgery at Beilinson Hospital (Petah Tikva, Israel) under the guidance of renowned cardiac surgeon Professor Bernardo Widne. Graduated with honors.
