Dr. Pongsapisut Poonsawatphong, widely known as “Doctor Ek,” is a prominent psychiatrist in Thailand who has made significant contributions to the field of mental health. With years of professional experience, he is recognized for his clinical expertise and his leadership in shaping mental health services that are both accessible and stigma-free. He currently serves as an executive of the SMIND network and is also the resident psychiatrist at the SMIND Mental Health Clinic located in Khon Kaen.
Dr. Pongsapisut’s career includes prior service at Srinagarind Hospital, a leading teaching hospital affiliated with Khon Kaen University, where he was actively involved in psychiatric care, education, and community outreach.
