Dr. Nihal Durmus Kocaaslan is an Associate Professor of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery at Marmara University. Kocaaslan holds TPRECD and EBOPRAS certifications (2013). Kocaaslan became a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS) in 2021. Kocaaslan has served as a Forensic Expert at the Ministry of Justice since 2019. Kocaaslan earned a PhD in Forensic Medicine in 2020.
Expertise includes orthognathic, maxillofacial, and jaw surgery, as well as cleft lip and palate and other congenital anomalies. Kocaaslan also specializes in breast and chest wall reconstruction, chronic wound repair, and aesthetic surgery.

Prof. Dr. Erdem Akbal is a Gastroenterology Specialist at Memorial Şişli and Memorial Bahçelievler Hospitals in Istanbul. He previously served at Liv Hospital Ulus, Medicana Ataşehir, Florence Nightingale Hospitals, and Çanakkale Onsekiz Mart University. He became an Associate Professor in 2014 and a Professor in 2019.
He received advanced training in interventional endoscopy. He completed ESD at Jichi Medical University in Japan. He trained in POEM/ESD and gastrointestinal motility at Amsterdam Medical Center. Dr. Fatima Bayramova completed a Bachelor’s degree at the Azerbaijan Medical Faculty in 2014. She completed residency training at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine in 2020 and at Istanbul University in 2025. She served as a Research Assistant in Internal Medicine at Hacettepe from 2016 to 2020. She then worked as a Specialist at Erdem Hospital in 2021. From 2021 to 2025, she was a Research Assistant in Endocrinology and Metabolic Diseases at the Istanbul Faculty of Medicine.
Her expertise includes diabetes mellitus, thyroid disease, obesity, adrenal and pituitary disorders, and osteoporosis. She also studies the correlation between bone marrow aspiration and biopsy results. She is a member of the Turkish Society of Endocrinology and Metabolism.
Dr. Yavuz Yalcin is a specialist in endocrinology and metabolic diseases at Memorial Sisli Hospital in Istanbul, where he has worked since 2014. Dr. Gokhan Ertas is a Professor of Cardiology with more than 20 years of clinical and academic experience. He has published 52 articles in international peer-reviewed journals. He has also contributed 3 chapters to national and international books. Dr. Ertas has presented 20 papers at international meetings and 25 at national meetings. He is dedicated to advancing cardiovascular medicine.

Prof. Dr. Ayla Güven graduated from Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in 1986 and completed her mandatory service at Ege University Chest Diseases Bornova Tuberculosis Dispensary. Following that, she started her specialization training in the Department of Child Health and Diseases at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine and became a specialist in 1993. After working as a specialist physician, she began her subspecialty training in Pediatric Endocrinology at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in September 2000 and became a Pediatric Endocrinology specialist in December 2002. In April 2003, she started working as an assistant professor at Ondokuz Mayıs University Faculty of Medicine and worked in the Pediatric Endocrinology and Diabetes Department at the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh, USA, between May and November 2003. After returning to Turkey, she continued to work at Ondokuz Mayıs University Faculty of Medicine. This clinic was the first to offer Pediatric Endocrinology subspecialty training in the country. During her time there, one person became a Pediatric Endocrinology specialist. On March 13, 2006, she successfully passed the exam and received the title of Associate Professor. Since December 2006, she has been working at Göztepe Training and Research Hospital. In this hospital, she was appointed as the head of the Pediatric Endocrinology clinic in November 2008 and started providing Pediatric Endocrinology subspecialty training for the first time in the hospital in March 2009. Between 2009 and 2017, she trained five Pediatric Endocrinology specialists. Most of the physicians she currently provides subspecialty training to have gained academic titles as professors and associate professors. After working as a training instructor at Health Sciences University Zeynep Kamil Hospital for Children and Women from 2017 to 2021, she retired at her request from public service. Between 2021 and 2024, she worked as a Pediatric Endocrinology specialist at Başkent University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Child Health and Diseases, at Istanbul Hospital.
