Dr. Meryem Eken is an obstetrician-gynecologist and IVF specialist. She earned her M.D. and completed her residency at Istanbul University. She completed IVF clinical training at Zeynep Kamil in 2017. She led the IVF Unit at Hisar Intercontinental Hospital from 2020 to 2025. She heads the IVF Unit at Bahçeşehir University Medical Park Göztepe Hospital. She started in 2025. She has served on the faculty of Üsküdar University since 2024. She became a professor at Biruni University in 2025.

He was born in 1965 in Istanbul. In 1982, he graduated from Kabataş High School for Boys. After graduating from Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine in 1988, he completed his specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine, Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. He became an associate professor at Cerrahpaşa Medical Faculty in 1993 and became a professor in 2003. She is interested in Reproductive Medicine and Surgery, Infertility, endometriosis and adenomyosis and has many studies, articles and trainings on these topics. H-index (14.08.2023) Google Scholar: 30, Scopus (Elsevier): 23. He is the founder of Endometriosis and Adenomyosis Association of Turkey. I graduated from Ankara University, Faculty of Medicine, in 1984. After compulsory service, I traveled abroad (UK, Saudi Arabia, Greece and Russia) for a many years to study and work in the fields of gynecology and infertility. In 1997, I received my specialist training from Kartal Training and Research Hospital. Following my training, I worked at Kartal SSK hospital. In 2001, I went to Tel Aviv University in Israel and received training In Vitro Fertilization and reproductive endocrinology. After returning to Turkey, I opened my own in vitro fertilization center ( IVF Center). Following the closure of the hospital in which my IVF center was located due to economic reasons, I started practicing private medicine. A while after that, I started working as the manager of The Gynecological Oncology and IVF Center in Bodrum Acibadem Hospital. Then, I returned to Istanbul, and continued my work in private hospitals as a specialist in gynecological oncology and IVF.
Throughout my long years of experience I did over 15.000 IVF trails.
