Dr. Levhi Akın is a general and laparoscopic surgeon with more than 33 years of experience. He specializes in colorectal, bariatric, and robotic surgery. Dr. Akın is skilled in colon cancer removal, pancreatic tumor enucleation, inguinal hernia repair, pancreatic cancer surgery, and cholecystectomy.
He graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine and GATA Medical Faculty. He also completed advanced military medical training. Dr. Akın is a member of the American College of Surgeons, the European Society of Coloproctology, and the Turkish Surgical Association. He has served on more than 10 editorial and advisory boards. His work shows a strong commitment to clinical excellence and medical research.
Professor Burhan Mayir isespecially interested in metabolic and bariatric surgery, also. He performs single port (scarless) sleeve gastrectomy, gastric by pass procedures and revisional bariatric surgeries. He has experience about metabolic-bariatric surgery, gastro-esophagus reflux surgery, endoscopic thyroid surgery (scarless thyroidectomy), cancer surgery, hernia surgery, adrenal gland surgery, other gastrointestinal surgical procedures, liver surgery, spleen surgery, hemorrhoid surgery and anal fissure surgery. He has speeches in various congresses and meetings, over 60 articles published in national and international refereed journals, and over 100 abstracts presented at congresses.
Dr. Ali Kagan Gokakin is a skilled General Laparoscopic Surgeon. He specializes in advanced digestive surgeries such as inguinal hernia repair, hemicolectomy, appendectomy, laparoscopic gall bladder removal, and Whipple’s procedure. He has worked at top Turkish hospitals, including Gazi University, Ankara Ataturk Training and Research Hospital, and the Florence Nightingale Hospital Liver Transplantation Center.
Dr. Gokakin has treated complex conditions like pancreatic head cancer, cholecystitis, and complicated appendicitis. He is known for his work in minimally invasive surgery and liver transplantation.
