Dr. Ahmet Yildiz is a Professor of Cardiology at Memorial Bahçelievler Hospital in Istanbul. He has served as Deputy Director and Chief Physician at the Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa, Institute of Cardiology. From 2009 to 2023, he contributed to both clinical care and academic programs at the institute.

Dr. Yildiz has published important research, including a study on coronary artery anomalies in over 12,000 adults and work on atorvastatin therapy for coronary artery disease. Dr. Yunus Nazli is an Associate Professor of Cardiovascular Surgery. He graduated from Trakya University Faculty of Medicine (1994–2000). He trained in Cardiovascular Surgery at Celal Bayar University (2001–2006).

He worked as a Cardiovascular Surgery Specialist at Diyarbakır State Hospital (2006–2008). He then served at Van Military Hospital and Van Medical Park Hospital (2008–2009). He is an expert in cardiac arrhythmia, pacemaker implantation, internal defibrillators and catheter ablation; and he conducts diagnostic electrophysiological studies.

He also carries out extensive teaching work as a Senior Lecturer of the Medicine Department of the Malaga University, where he teaches the subject Diseases of the Circulatory and Respiratory Systems to fourth-year medical students.

He is the author of over 100 scientific publications in influential journals. At the same time, he has contributed to the preparation of clinical practice guides and is the author of 23 books and chapters of scientific titles in the speciality.

Experience

On his return from London, he organized and directed the Arrhythmia Unit of the Cardiology Service of the University Hospital Nuestra Señora del Pino in Las Palmas until 2000.

He later became Deputy Director of the Arrhythmia Department and Director of the Electrophysiology Laboratory at the Jimenez Diaz Foundation in Madrid.

Professor of Cardiology at the Autonomous University and Director of the North American Society of Pacing and Electrophysiology (Heart Rhythm Society) Fellowship Program, positions he held for 6 years before moving to the Quironsalud University Hospital of Madrid in 2006.

Dr. Cabrera has been head of the cardiology department at the Quironsalud University Hospital of Madrid since its opening in 2006.

Since January 2013, he has also been Head of the Cardiology Department at the Ruber Juan Bravo Hospital Complex and, in 2022, Head of Service at the new Olimpia Center.

He is a professor at the European University of Madrid, where he heads the Department of Clinical and Fundamental Translational Cardiology.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Özlem Köroğlu is a specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Memorial Ankara Hospital (2024–present). She previously served as a faculty member at Gaziler Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Training and Research Hospital (2016–2024). She was Chief of the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Clinic at Elazığ Military Hospital (2011–2015). She earned her MD in 2003 from the GATA Faculty of Medicine. She completed her PM&R residency in 2011.

Her credentials include Ministry of Health–approved certified prolotherapy training. She has taught Prolotherapy and PRP (2022) and Knee Prolotherapy and Campinject (2019). She also taught GETAT and Dextrose Prolotherapy (2018) and ISPRM Ultrasound (2009). She has additional training in musculoskeletal ultrasound, neural therapy, lumbar injections and manipulation, and botulinum toxin treatment for the spastic hand.
