Dr. Son Dong Wan, MD, PhD, is the Chief of Urology at Naeun Hospital. He specializes in urologic oncology, urinary incontinence, sexual dysfunction, and laser prostate surgery. He performs robotic and laparoscopic surgery for cancers of the prostate, bladder, ureter, and kidney. He also treats ureteropelvic junction (UPJ) obstruction.

He earned his PhD from Pusan National University. He completed his internship and residency at Pusan National University Hospital. He is a former Chief at Wallace Memorial Baptist Hospital. Dr. Michael Lotem leads the Melanoma and Cancer Immunotherapy Center at Hadassah Medical Center. He specializes in advanced immunotherapy for melanoma. He is known for his research on SLAM receptors and their role in anti-cancer immune responses. Dr. Lotem has published widely in leading medical journals.

He heads a multidisciplinary team that uses clinical data and patient samples to advance research. Under his leadership, the center has improved patient outcomes with new therapies. The center is now recognized as a leader in cancer immunotherapy.

Rifaat Safadi is a laureate of many scientific awards. In particular, he has been repeatedly awarded the Hadassah Prize for studying the process of immune modulation of liver fibrosis using mRNA. For achievements in the same field, the professor received the Sharon Donsky and the Israeli Association of Gastroenterology and Hepatology awards.

Dr. Michael Peer is a leading cardiothoracic specialist with more than 21 years of experience. He is the Senior Surgeon in the Thoracic Surgery Department at Ichilov Medical Center in Tel Aviv. Dr. Peer graduated from Tbilisi State Medical University. He also completed advanced training in thoracoscopic lung surgery at Cedars-Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles.

Dr. Peer has served as chief and senior surgeon at major hospitals in Israel, including Assaf Harofeh and Edith Wolfson Medical Centers. He has published over 20 scientific articles on lung cancer and thoracic diseases. He is also a frequent speaker at international medical conferences.

Dr. Lucía González Cortijo is a medical oncologist with more than 20 years of experience. She has led the Medical Oncology Department at Hospital Universitario Quirónsalud Madrid since 2020. Her focus areas include breast and gynecologic cancers. She also works in precision oncology, targeted therapies, and immunotherapy.

She has been Principal Investigator in more than 20 Phase II–III clinical trials. She has also served as sub-investigator in over 50 international trials. She previously worked at Quirónsalud Madrid from 2009 to 2020. Before that, she was at MD Anderson Cancer Center Madrid from 2002 to 2009.

She holds an MD and a PhD (cum laude) from the Autonomous University of Madrid. She completed her Medical Oncology specialty training at Hospital 12 de Octubre. She also earned a Master’s in Molecular Oncology. She is a member of SEOM, ESMO, ASCO, and GEICAM. She is a university lecturer.
