Professor Michael Georgopoulos is a Senior Consultant in Vitreoretinal Surgery at the Medical University of Vienna. He specializes in surgical diseases of the macula, retina, and vitreous body. He is known for advanced procedures such as macular opening, macular fold correction, vitreomacular traction syndrome, and retinal detachment surgeries. He also performs combined cataract and retinal surgeries. In addition, he manages cases of vitreous hemorrhage and opacification.

Dr. Georgopoulos is recognized for introducing seamless 23-gauge transconjunctival vitrectomy. He also pioneered additive anti-VEGF therapy and the use of high-resolution 3D optical coherence tomography (HR-OCT) for pre- and postoperative assessment. He leads clinical research on postoperative cortisone therapy, comparison of surgical techniques, drug therapy for the vitreous body, and cytokine analysis in retinal diseases.

Dr. Martin Zehetmayer is an experienced ophthalmologist who specializes in eye surgery. He earned his doctorate from the University of Vienna and holds a Ius Practicandi license. Since 1999, he has served as Senior Physician and Head of the Eye Clinic at the University Hospital of Ophthalmology in Vienna.

Dr. Zehetmayer has published about 100 scientific papers. His main research areas include ophthalmic oncology, corneal collagen structures, cataract surgery, and intraocular lenses. He was one of the first to use stereotactic radiosurgery (Gamma Knife, LINAC) for choroidal melanoma. He also leads the outpatient clinic for eye tumors.

He is a certified specialist in ophthalmology and optometry. Dr. Zehetmayer serves as Secretary of the Austrian Ophthalmological Society and has been President of the Vienna Ophthalmological Society. He is a university professor and an active member of several national and international professional societies.

Prof. Dr. Michael Georgopoulos is a Senior Consultant in Vitreoretinal Surgery at the Medical University of Vienna. He specializes in diseases of the macula, retina, and vitreous body. He is known for his skill in macular surgery, treating retinal detachment, and managing complex vitreous disorders such as vitreous hemorrhage and opacification.

Dr. Georgopoulos has led important clinical studies on 23-gauge transconjunctival vitrectomy and high-resolution OCT. He has also worked on new treatments, including VEGF inhibitors and cortisone. Dr. Chareenun Chirapapaisan is an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology at the Faculty of Medicine Siriraj Hospital, Mahidol University. She specializes in cornea and refractive surgery.

Her credentials include a medical degree and an ophthalmology residency at Siriraj Hospital. She completed a clinical fellowship in cornea and refractive surgery at Siriraj. She later completed a fellowship in cornea and refractive surgery at Massachusetts Eye and Ear Infirmary, Harvard University. This was a Certificate Fellowship. She also completed a clinical fellowship in refractive surgery at Boston Laser Institute, USA. In addition, she completed a lamellar keratoplasty course at SNEC, Singapore.

Dr. Sasi Yaisawang, M.D., is an ophthalmologist at Bangkok Eye Hospital. She specializes in cornea and refractive surgery.

She graduated in medicine with first-class honors from Chulalongkorn University. She completed her ophthalmology residency at Khon Kaen University. She is a Ph.D. candidate. Chayanee Potivongsajarn, M.D., is an ophthalmologist. She has subspecialty training in cornea and refractive surgery and holds internationally recognized credentials.

She graduated with First Class Honors from the Faculty of Medicine, Siriraj Hospital. She completed an ophthalmology residency at Ramathibodi Hospital. She then pursued a fellowship in cornea and refractive surgery. Dr. Potivongsajarn is a Fellow of the International Council of Ophthalmology (FICO). Dr. Seong-Won Cho is Director of Ophthalmology and a refractive surgery specialist at Samsung Miracle Eye Clinic in Gangnam, Seoul. He is board-certified. He completed his internship and ophthalmology residency at Korea University Anam Hospital. He earned a bachelor’s degree from Boston University. He focuses on advanced vision correction, including SMILE and LASIK. He previously served as Director at Blue World Eye Clinic. He was also an outpatient ophthalmology consultant at Inha University Hospital.
