Dr. Jacob Rue is a skilled veterinarian and orthopedic surgeon. He specializes in critical care, emergency cases, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, pain management, and hyperbaric oxygen therapy. He has received the small animal surgery award. Dr. Rue is also certified in bone plating and tibial plateau leveling osteotomy (TPLO).

Dr. Rue has broad surgical experience and upholds high standards in veterinary medicine. He is an active board member of the Hillsborough Animal Health Foundation (HAHF). This role shows his dedication to improving animal healthcare.

After completing his medical doctorate education at Gazi University School of Medicine, which is located in the capital city of Ankara he carried on to his Orthopaedic and Traumatology fellowship training at the same university. After his fellow training, he completed his mandatory governmental and military duties as an orthopaedic surgeon between 2008 and 2011. He later started his Orthopaedic career in Istanbul Acıbadem Hospitals network. He is now private practicing in his own clinic in Istanbul. 

Starting from the year 2014 he has been especially focused on the fields of patient-specific orthopaedic surgery, computer-aided surgical planning, 3D printed custom surgical guides and implants. These fields are very novel even throughout the world. He performed many surgeries as the first examples of their own for Turkey. About me

I graduated from Izmir Dokuz Eylul University with the orthopedics branch. After I graduated, I carried out some

studies focusing on especially on

joint and cartilage surgery and stem cells. In this, I worked with many professional and amateur sport clubs. Also,

I worked on joint replacement surgery

for further aged people. Approximately, I achieved 10 thousand people who took knee and hip replacement

surgery from me. I attended to many international conferences about joint and cartilage surgery. Now I start

Ortocare Clinic for orthopedics and health center. In here, I treat my patients using the most advanced

technologies in the world, such as foot health centers, electromagnetic therapy, cryocabin therapy, backup

therapy and stem cell therapy. In our clinic, I continue to my work on non-surgical treatments, especially antiaging

treatment, and to eliminate pain problems in patients. On top of that, I also carry out some post-operative

rehabilitation and medical plates exercises.

Spine Surgery: His experience extends to treating various spine conditions, such as degenerative diseases, herniated discs, and spinal deformities. He uses minimally invasive techniques whenever possible to reduce recovery times and improve surgical outcomes.

Pediatric Orthopedics: Dr. Aydın also has expertise in treating musculoskeletal conditions in children, such as congenital deformities, growth plate injuries, and scoliosis.

Arthroscopy: Skilled in minimally invasive arthroscopic surgery, Dr. Aydın can diagnose and treat conditions affecting joints, including the knee, shoulder, and ankle, with reduced scarring and quicker recovery.

Board-certified physiatrist (Diplomate of the Thai Board of Rehabilitation Medicine, 2023). Head of Rehabilitation at King Mongkut Chaokhunthahan Hospital. CEO and Founder of PYONG Rehabilitation Group since 2023.

Clinical focus: neurorehabilitation, geriatric rehabilitation, and chronic pain. Uses robotics and wearable exoskeleton gait training. Performs ultrasound-guided procedures and advanced laser and radiofrequency therapies.

Principal Investigator of a pilot randomized controlled trial on wearable exoskeleton gait training in subacute stroke. Presented to the Royal College of Physiatrists of Thailand in 2023. Instructor at KMITL since 2020.

Completed Rehabilitation Medicine residency at Chulalongkorn University in 2023. Earned an MD in 2017. Runs a public health platform with over 100,000 followers. Hosted PYONG SUMMIT in 2024 with over 200 attendees. Honors include nominee for Quality Person of the Year 2025 and First Prize in the Ananda Mahidol Pin Design in 2016.
