Dr. Murat Cakar is an Assistant Professor of Pediatric Surgery. His focus includes neonatal thoracic and abdominal diseases, esophageal atresia replacement, diaphragmatic hernia, pediatric cancer surgery (Wilms tumor, neuroblastoma), and testicular surgical conditions.

He earned his MD from Cumhuriyet University (1998–2005). He completed pediatric surgery training (2006–2011). He worked as a pediatric surgeon (2011–2013). He has served as Head of Pediatric Surgery at Karabük University, İstinye University/Liv Hospital (since 2020), and Aydın University (since 2021).

His roles include Founding Manager of Karabük University Hospital, Head of Laboratory Operations, and Chair of Child Advocacy Centers. He has also served on Medicines and Medical Supplies Commissions. He is a member of the Turkish Association of Pediatric Surgeons and the Pediatric Urology Association.

Prof. Dr. Adem Dervişoğlu completed his undergraduate education at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine and his specialization, doctorate and professors degree at Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine, Istanbul University. He also attended advanced symposiums and clinical trials on surgical treatment of obesity, minimally invasive techniques in visceral surgery and endocrine surgery respectively. He is a member of the Turkish Society of Surgery, Clinical Enteral Parenteral Nutrition Society, Hernia Society, Association of Endocrine Surgery and Colon and Rectum Association.

Dr. Önder Ofluoğlu is an experienced orthopedic surgeon with 30 years of experience. He specializes in orthopedic surgery, orthopedic oncologic surgery, hand microsurgery, bone and soft tissues tumors, and trauma surgery. He is an author of over 50 documents and has over 200 citations. He is a member of the Connective Tissue Oncology Society, European Federation of National Associations of Orthopaedics and Traumatology, Turkish Association of Orthopaedics Oncology, Turkish Association of Orthopaedics and Traumatology, and Association for the Study and Application of Methods of Ilizarov. He currently works in Medical Park Göztepe Hospital.

Dr. Ozge Utku Aydemir is a specialist in plastic, reconstructive, and aesthetic surgery. Dr. Aydemir completed residency training at Ankara Bilkent City Hospital (2019–2023). Dr. Aydemir then served as a specialist doctor at Ankara Ataturk Sanatorium Training and Research Hospital (2023–2025). Dr. Aydemir earned an MD from Gazi University (English Program).

EBOPRAS (European Board of Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery) Part 1 certified on 25 Jan 2025. Interests include facial and breast aesthetics, body contouring, microsurgery and hand surgery, reconstructive surgery, injectables (fillers, Botox), and lasers.

Publications include a 2023 article in The Journal of Hand Surgery on outcomes of wide-awake flexor tendon repairs in 58 fingers and 9 thumbs. Dr. Aydemir also completed a thesis on amniotic membrane use in flexor tendon repair. Presentations include oral and poster sessions at TPRECD and an international congress. Member of TPRECD, Aesthetic Plastic Surgery Society, and Aesthetic Surgery Society.

Dr. Cagdas Erdogan is a gastroenterologist at Ankara Etlik City Hospital. He trained in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. He earned his MD from Dokuz Eylul University. He completed his Internal Medicine residency from 2014 to 2019. He then completed a Gastroenterology fellowship at Ankara City Hospital from 2019 to 2022. His clinical focus includes advanced endoscopy (ERCP, EUS, EMR, ESD, POEM, EGD, colonoscopy, double-balloon enteroscopy), inflammatory bowel disease, and hepatology.

He has about 40 publications. His work appears in The Turkish Journal of Gastroenterology, Scientific Reports, Endoscopy, and Digestive Diseases and Sciences. Notable studies address vedolizumab in IBD and prophylaxis for post-ERCP pancreatitis. He also reported a 13-year Crohn’s cohort comparing infliximab and adalimumab. Additional work covers outcomes with an adalimumab biosimilar and innovative endoscopic therapies (MCA via double-balloon enteroscopy, holmium laser for Bouveret syndrome, POEM for Zenker’s diverticulum, and ESD for esophageal papillomatosis).

Dr. Ekin Dogan is a specialist dentist and periodontist. He holds a Master’s degree from the Ege University Faculty of Dentistry and completed specialization in Periodontology at Inonu University. His focus areas are periodontology, implantology, and microsurgery. He works under magnification and documents cases with professional clinical photography.

Clinical scope includes regenerative and resective periodontal surgery, gum recession therapy and grafting, vestibuloplasty, and aesthetic periodontal procedures such as gummy-smile correction and lip repositioning. He also performs implant surgery, including sinus lift and hard-tissue augmentation, and provides peri-implantitis care. His practice covers endodontic surgery (apical resection, root hemisection), prosthetics (over-implant, fixed), laminates, and periodontal splints.

Memberships include the International Team for Implantology (ITI) and the Turkish Society of Periodontology (since 2021). He has completed certified trainings in Dental Photography, Overdenture Prostheses, Composite/Porcelain Laminate, and Botox, Dermal Filler, and Mesotherapy.

Dr. Gokay Gunay is an ophthalmologist. He trained at Istanbul University Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine (1991–1997) and at Istanbul University Çapa Faculty of Medicine, Department of Eye Diseases (1997–2001).

He has experience in over 20,000 surgical cases. He is a member of the Turkish Ophthalmology Association, the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the European Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons, and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery. He speaks English.

Prof. Dr. Cemal Asım Kutlu is a leading thoracic surgeon in Istanbul. He heads the Thoracic Surgery Department at Central Hospital. He has decades of experience and international training. He is known for complex thoracic surgery and innovative techniques.

He achieved several firsts in Turkey. These include the first successful lung transplantation, the first robotic lobectomy, and the first Ex Vivo Lung Perfusion (EVLP). His expertise includes lung transplantation; VATS (video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery) and robotic thoracic surgery; tracheal and bronchial surgery; lung cancer surgery; and pleural diseases.

Prof. Dr. Şevki Erdem is an Orthopedics and Traumatology specialist with expertise in spine surgery, deformity correction, and complex spinal disorders. He earned his medical degree from Atatürk University in Erzurum. He completed specialty training in Orthopedics and Traumatology at Erciyes University. Over several decades in leading Turkish hospitals, he has treated thousands of patients with spinal conditions. He has also trained future spine surgeons. In 2013, the Turkish Ministry of Health named him Doctor of the Year.

He currently practices at Central Hospital in Istanbul. He provides advanced, patient-centered orthopedic care for scoliosis, kyphosis, spondylolisthesis, spinal stenosis, fractures, tumors, infections, and spinal deformities. He also performs joint replacement.

Dr. Bahadir Topuz is a urologist. He studied medicine at the Gülhane Military Medical Academy (GATA) Faculty of Medicine from 2001 to 2007. He completed his urology residency at GATA from 2010 to 2015.

He served in the Department of Urology at GATA from 2007 to 2015. He then worked at the University of Health Sciences Gülhane Training and Research Hospital from 2015 to 2023. He now practices at UroHealth Clinic and Central Hospital in Istanbul, and at a private hospital in Baku.

Accreditations: member of the Turkish Urological Association and the European Association of Urology. Dr. Merve Cemil is a specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation. She graduated from Istanbul University-Cerrahpaşa Faculty of Medicine in 2014 with honors. She completed her specialty training at Istanbul Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Training and Research Hospital from 2015 to 2019. She currently works in the private healthcare sector.

Her expertise includes ultrasound-guided musculoskeletal, intra-articular, periarticular, intramuscular, perineural, and spinal injections. She also provides orthopedic and neurological rehabilitation, manual therapy, PRP therapy, prolotherapy, mesotherapy, and ozone therapy. She treats temporomandibular joint disorders and lymphedema.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mehmet Salih İyikesici is a medical oncologist. He provides personalized care for breast, lung, and gastrointestinal cancers. He combines metabolically supported therapies with chemotherapy. His interests include the ketogenic diet in cancer care, hyperthermia, and hyperbaric oxygen therapy.

He has conducted and contributed to national and international scientific studies. Selected national peer-reviewed publications include Metabolic Supported Chemotherapy in Rectal Cancer (2020), NSCLC Patient Outcomes – Marmara University (2004), and Early-Stage Breast Cancer Outcomes (2004).

Prof. Dr. Erdal Aslım is a cardiovascular and vascular surgeon. He performs advanced vascular procedures at his private practice in Istanbul. He has a strong academic background. He also completed international training in Austria and Turkey.
