Professor of Otolaryngology

Dr. Selahattin Tugrul is an experienced ENT Professor with more than 30 years in Otorhinolaryngology. He earned his Doctorate and Medical Specialty at Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine. This education gave him a strong foundation in medicine.

He worked at Bezmiâlem Vakıf University, moving from Assistant Professor to Full Professor. He spent over ten years there, leading academic programs and mentoring future ENT specialists. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Murat Damar is an ENT specialist at Private Optimed International Çorlu Hospital, ENT Clinic. He graduated from Uludağ University in 1997. He completed ENT residency training at Istanbul University from 2004 to 2009.

Dr. Bora Basaran is an experienced ENT specialist and Associate Professor. He focuses on head and neck oncology, thyroid tumors, and endoscopic sinus surgery. He is a Fellow of the European Board of Otorhinolaryngology, Head & Neck Surgery. Dr. Basaran has held important roles at Istanbul University and Florence Nightingale Hospital.

He has performed many complex surgeries in head and neck reconstruction and transoral laser microsurgery. He is well known for his work with salivary gland and thyroid tumors. Dr. Basaran earned his Turkish ENT Board certification in 2007. He became an Associate Professor in 2014.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Özlem Köroğlu is a specialist in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation at Memorial Ankara Hospital (2024–present). She previously served as a faculty member at Gaziler Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Training and Research Hospital (2016–2024). She was Chief of the Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Clinic at Elazığ Military Hospital (2011–2015). She earned her MD in 2003 from the GATA Faculty of Medicine. Dr. Emre TÜRKMEN is an ENT specialist focused on rhinoplasty and nasal and ear aesthetic procedures. He graduated from Istanbul Bilim University Faculty of Medicine in 2008. He completed his ENT specialization at Yeditepe University in 2015. He worked for two and a half years at Giresun Şebinkarahisar State Hospital and served as chief physician in his final year.
