Dr. Alp Gürkan is a surgeon with more than 33 years of experience in organ transplantation and general surgery. He has performed over 1,900 kidney transplants and more than 3,000 surgical procedures. This makes him one of Turkey’s most accomplished transplant surgeons.

Dr. Gürkan founded Turkey’s first non-university organ transplant clinic. He also performed the country’s first laparoscopic kidney transplant from a live donor. He is known for leading Turkey’s first intestinal transplant. Dr. Gürkan has received several major honors, including the Turkish Department of Health Excellence Award of Renal Transplant and the Prime Minister Medical Honor Award.

 • Examining and diagnosing cranial, spinal, head-neck region diseases by imaging methods. • Examining vascular diseases of brain, neck and spine with angiography method. • Treatment of vascular diseases of brain, neck and spine by endovascular methods (closed surgery). • Treatment of cerebrovascular aneurysms (in patients with or without cerebral hemorrhage) • Treatment of cerebrovascular stenosis with stent method. • Treatment of cerebrovascular diseases like fistule and arteriovenous malformation with embolisation method. • Stent application in stenosis of neck veins (by using umbrella method). • Reducing the operation risk by blocking the veins which are feeding the tumor before open-surgeries in some tumor and head-neck area operations. • Embolisation treatment in birthmark-hemangioma and diseases like vascular malformations. • Endovascular treatment of vascular diseases at spinal cord and membrane • Dissolving the thrombus with urgent intervention in patients with stroke in order to provide the brain to overcome the situation with less damage as possible. • Endovascular treatment of vasospasm in patients with cerebral hemorrhage. • In uncontrolled epistaxis blocking the nasal vein by reaching it with angiography method.

Dr. Erdem Koçak is a gastroenterologist with international training. He is certified in advanced endoscopic and bariatric procedures from Johns Hopkins University (USA) and Hallym University (South Korea). Dr. Koçak is one of the few Turkish specialists with global accreditation in advanced endoscopic techniques.

He is known for minimally invasive treatments of early-stage gastrointestinal tumors. Dr. Koçak provides non-surgical options for esophageal, gastric, and colorectal cancers. He is also a pioneer in non-surgical obesity treatments, such as gastric balloon and stomach Botox procedures.

Dr. Koçak has published over 100 international scientific articles and contributed to three book chapters. He has presented at more than 100 medical congresses. He is recognized as a leading academic in his field. Dr. Koçak is trained in both internal medicine and gastroenterology. He works as a chief physician and specialist in major hospitals across Turkey.

He is a member of five respected medical associations, including the Turkish Society of Gastroenterology and TSGE. This ensures he stays updated with the latest medical advances.
