After completing her medical education in English at KARADENİZ TECHNİC University Faculty of Medicine in 2005, Volkan TUMENTEMUR gained the title of specialist in the field is General Surgeon of our clinic.

Assoc. Dr. Ali DURMUŞ was born in the Fevzipaşa township of İslahiye, Gaziantep. Because his father worked at Tekel, he started his education at Malatya Derme Primary School and completed it at Adıyaman Atatürk Primary School. When his father was appointed to Amasya Taşova district, he attended secondary school at Taşova Atatürk Secondary School. He finished high school at Gaziantep Kilis High School, ranking 3rd.

Since his uncle was in Çanakkale, he chose Çanakkale Education Institute as a university. Assoc. Prof. Dr. is a teacher. Ali Durmuş was appointed to Yukarı Tutak village in Ağrı's Diyadin district within the scope of compulsory service. After working as a teacher for a period, he took the university exam again.

He was accepted to Erciyes University Faculty of Medicine, one of the two medical faculties that taught in English at that time. He completed one year of English preparation and 6 years of medical education without any loss. He was a member of the ski team and basketball team at the university, and also managed social events such as the annual medical ball.

He was assigned to Iskenderun State Hospital in compulsory service. Assoc. Prof. Dr., who served as the emergency manager. Ali Durmuş passed the General Surgery Department of Okmeydanı Training and Research Hospital in the Medical Specialization Exam. Assoc. Prof. Dr. completed his specialization and became a specialist. Due to his success in his compulsory service, Ali Durmuş was appointed as assistant chief physician to the Oncology department at Okmeydanı Training and Research Hospital.

Later, he was appointed as a training officer in the Department of General Surgery and Gastroenterology. He helped develop laparoscopic stomach and intestinal surgeries (sleeve gastrectomy, gastric bypass, reflux, colon cancer, stomach cancer, etc.) in Turkey. Between 2002 and 2015, he trained dozens of assistants and helped them become general surgeons.

In 2015, he left his job in Okmeydanı and worked as Assistant Professor. He started working as a faculty member at Nişantaşı University.

Dr. Abdulkadir Bedirli completed his medical education at Istanbul University Istanbul Medical Faculty in 1988. He became a General Surgeon in 1997 and was appointed as Associate Professor in the Department of General Surgery at Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in 2005. He became a Professor in 2010.

In 2011, Dr. Bedirli completed the Robotic Surgery Certification Program in Strasbourg and became a console surgeon. He performed his first robotic surgery in the Department of General Surgery at Gazi University in the same year. Since then, he has successfully applied robotic surgery to over 1500 patients, mostly for obesity, stomach cancer, and colon-rectum cancers.

In 2012, Dr. Bedirli became a Surgical Oncology Specialist and participated in training programs on Laparoscopic and Robotic Surgery in Paris-France in 2014 and in Lyon-France in 2016. In 2018, he completed the Gastric Cancer Master Class program at Severance Hospital in Seoul-South Korea, and in 2019, he participated in the Bariatric Redo Surgery training program in Bruges-Belgium.

Dr. Bedirli was awarded the F.A.C.S. (Fellow of the American College of Surgeons) title by the American College of Surgeons in 2018. He has published 61 international and 47 national papers, presented 87 papers at international conferences and 68 papers at national conferences, contributed to 7 book chapters, and served as an editor for one book. Dr. Bedirli has an H-index of 18, with 1064 citations to his 72 publications.

Dr. Liza Maria Pompa Gonzalez is a skilled surgeon with expertise in general and bariatric surgery. She is a certified member of the Mexican Council of Surgery and has renewed her certification several times. Dr. Pompa holds credentials in both general and bariatric surgery. Doctor earned his Master's Degree in Medicine and Surgery from the University of Brescia in 2005. He then completed his specialization in General Surgery at the same university in 2016, with a thesis titled "Fast track in minimally invasive colon surgery. He has complete autonomy in the clinical management of complex patients and extensive experience in performing a variety of surgical procedures, including major surgeries. Dr. Cenan Oktay was born in 1965 in Plovdiv-Bulgaria. He completed his primary school education in Istanbul in 1977. He completed his secondary and high school education at Istanbul Erkek High School, which provides education in German. He graduated from Trakya University Faculty of Medicine in 1984.

Due to his interest in surgery, he completed his General Surgery internship while he was a student, Heidelberg University Head of Surgery Clinics in Germany, Prof.Dr. ch. He did it with Herfarth.

He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine with his 3rd degree in 1990 and started his General Surgery specialization training at SSK Okmeydanı Training Hospital in Istanbul in September-1991. He prepared congress publications as well as clinical and experimental studies during his residency training.

In 1993, he received training on "Microsurgery Course" and "Valtrac" rings used in GIS anastomoses at Würtzburg University, Germany, and became the first user in Turkey and used them in his specialization thesis.

He became a General Surgery Specialist at SSK Okmeydanı Training Hospital in 1996. In the same year, I.U. He completed the "Surgical Gastroenterology Endoscopy Training Courses" at Istanbul Medical Faculty. Due to his interest in Liver and Bile Tract surgery, he graduated from Istanbul University for 4 months in 1999. He worked actively in the General Surgery Department of Liver and Biliary Tract Surgery. During this time, he continued clinical and experimental studies.
