On his return from London, he organized and directed the Arrhythmia Unit of the Cardiology Service of the University Hospital Nuestra Señora del Pino in Las Palmas until 2000.

Prof. Murat Sünbül is a Professor of Cardiology at İstinye University, Topkapı Liv Hospital (2025–present). Dr. Kanar currently practices at Liv Hospital Vadi Istanbul. He brings international experience to Turkey and has performed over 1,000 electrophysiology and interventional procedures. He represents Türkiye at the European Heart Rhythm Association. He is also an active member of the European Society of Cardiology and the Turkish Cardiology Association. Dr. Kanar ensures his patients have access to the latest advances in cardiac care.
