Dr. Suleyman Semih Dedeoglu is an experienced orthopedic surgeon. He specializes in sports injuries, trauma surgery, and joint reconstruction. He is known internationally for his skill in both arthroscopic and open treatments of the knee, shoulder, elbow, hip, and ankle.

Dr. Dedeoglu developed the ‘Dedeoğlu Technique’, an innovative method for complex shoulder fracture repair. This technique was published in JSES in 2023. He has presented his work at major international congresses, including EFORT and ICSES 2023 in Rome.

Later, he worked as the Head of the Orthopedic and Traumatology Surgery Department at American Hospital. In 1999, he studied microsurgery at Cleveland Medical Center.
He worked as a specialist in Orthopedics and Traumatology Microsurgery in many private hospitals in Istanbul. Between 2006-2007, he worked as a Hand and Microsurgery Specialist at Columbia University School of Medicine. In 1997, he completed his specialization training in Orthopedics and Traumatology at Ankara Dr. Muhittin Ülker Emergency and Traumatology Hospital with a thesis on "Total Knee Arthroplasty Applications and Early Results". Between 1997 and 2000, he worked as a specialist doctor at the Orthopedics and Traumatology Clinic of the same hospital, and between 2000 and 2004, he served as a chief resident at the same hospital. Between 2004 and 2013, he worked as a chief resident in the Orthopedics and Traumatology Clinic at Ankara Atatürk Training and Research Hospital of the Ministry of Health.
