Dr. Azmi Hamzaoglu is a leading spine surgeon with 36 years of experience in orthopedics and traumatology. He founded the Istanbul Scoliosis and Spine Center, the first facility in Turkey focused on spine surgery.

Dr. Hamzaoglu has performed thousands of complex surgeries, such as discectomy, kyphoplasty, scoliosis correction, and anterior cervical discectomy and fusion. He is known for developing new surgical techniques and has played a key role in improving spine care in Turkey.

I did my master's thesis on the rotator cuff healing of dicholefenac sodium. As a specialist in 2013, I started at Okmeydanı Training and Research Hospital and got my associate professorship there in 2018. In 2017, I worked as a Clinical fellow in the publication of Prof Dr Philip Lobenhoffer for Knee Circumferential Osteotomies, unicondylar and total knee arthroplasty in Germany (Go:h Sports Clinic/Hannover). I started working at Istinye University Hospital in 2019. I am married and have 2 children.

Dr. Yunus Uysal is an experienced orthopedic surgeon. He specializes in arthroplasty, spinal surgery, and trauma. He has completed advanced training in hip and knee robotic replacement in Luxembourg. Professional biography

After completing his internship, he worked as a physician in a refugee camp (Kampala, Uganda) under the auspices of the Global Youth Movement for Africa (2007). He returned to Hadassah, where he worked in the orthopedic department during his residency.

From 2013 to 2014, he was an attending spine surgeon at the Bronx Hospital (New York). After returning to Israel, he currently works as a spine surgeon in the orthopedic department.

He actively uses robotic equipment and, together with the clinic’s team of doctors, has performed many complex operations to restore the structure of the spinal column.

Scientific activity

Participated in various clinical studies in California, Switzerland, and the USA. Teaches at the University of Jerusalem and Cornell Weill University, is a member of the Association of Orthopedists and the Congress of Vertebrologists (Milan). Dr. Pablo de la Cuadra (Pablo Cuadra de la Virgili) is an orthopedic surgeon and traumatologist in Madrid. He specializes in sports injuries and shoulder surgery at Hospital Ruber Internacional, where he has worked since 1999. He has over 25 years of experience.
