准教授ジェンク・アカール博士は、アンカラ大学医学部で医学教育を受け、ガジ大学医学部泌尿器科学教室で泌尿器科の専門医研修を修了しました。2009年6月から2012年11月まで、パムッカレ大学医学部泌尿器科学教室で准教授として勤務しました。2012年5月から2012年11月までの6か月間、オランダがん研究所・AVL病院泌尿器科において、泌尿器科悪性腫瘍に対するロボット手術および腹腔鏡手術のリサーチフェローとして研鑽を積みました。2012年11月よりアジバデム・アンカラ病院に勤務し、2014年9月に必要な学術資格を取得し、「准教授」の称号を授与されました。2015年から2020年まではアンカラの私立病院に勤務し、その後2020年にHisar Intercontinental病院を設立するまでアンカラで個人開業を続けました。
2015年には、トルコの泌尿器科領域で初となる「泌尿器科手術における蛍光イメージング」コースの組織委員会委員長を務めました。その後の数年間、泌尿器科学会の後援のもと、ICG蛍光イメージングに関する多数の泌尿器科・学際的コースを主宰しました。2017年には、トルコで初めて良性前立腺肥大症に対する双極電極による前立腺核出術を自施設において導入しました。その後、HOLEP（ホルミウムレーザー前立腺核出術）およびTHUFLEP（ツリウムファイバーレーザー前立腺核出術）など、さらなる手技においても豊富な経験を積み重ねてきました。

Prof. Dr. Kamil Yalçın Polat is a leading transplantology expert and Head of the Organ Transplantation Center at Memorial Bahçelievler Hospital in Istanbul. With over 30 years of surgical experience, he founded the Organ Transplantation Center at Atatürk University (2003-2010) and completed fellowships at Mount Sinai Hospital and Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York.
