He received his specialization in Pediatric Health and Diseases from the Department of Pediatrics at Gülhane Military Medical Academy between 1993-1997. He worked as a paediatrician at Güzelyalı Air Hospital between 1997-1999. He worked as an assistant professor at the Department of Pediatrics at Gülhane Military Medical Academy between 1999-2002.
