The exact surgical plan and treatment sequence will be determined after the initial clinical examination and completion of all required diagnostic tests at our hospital. Therefore, the final treatment plan and total cost may be subject to change depending on the patient’s medical condition.
The package includes the pre-operative bariatric surgery screening package, the contents of which are detailed in the appendix.
Please note: Endoscopic gastric sleeve procedures are not performed at our center. Gastric sleeve surgery is performed laparoscopically or robotically (surgical approach) in accordance with international bariatric surgery standards.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Abdulcabbar Kartal is a distinguished colorectal and general surgeon practicing at Anadolu Medical Center in Istanbul. With over 17 years of surgical experience, he specializes in colorectal surgery, HIPEC (hyperthermic intraperitoneal chemotherapy) for peritoneal cancers, bariatric surgery, and minimally invasive procedures.
Dr. Kartal graduated from Istanbul University Faculty of Medicine in 2007 and completed his general surgery specialization at Istanbul Şişli Etfal Training and Research Hospital (2007-2013). He served as Assistant Professor at Istanbul Okan University (2016-2020) before receiving his Associate Professor title in 2020. In 2021, he earned the prestigious FEBS-C certification from the European Society of Coloproctology and became a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons (FACS).
Dr. Kartal has published over 40 articles in international peer-reviewed journals and is an active member of the Turkish Society of Colon and Rectal Surgery, European Society of Coloproctology, and Turkish Surgical Association.
