Upper eyelid blepharoplasty is a simple operation that, together with preparatory manipulations and suturing, lasts up to 1 hour. It is performed under local or general anesthesia. The type of anesthesia is chosen by the anesthesiologist, taking into account the patient's age, the presence of concomitant diseases and contraindications. Eyelid lift begins with marking. Then anesthesia is administered. Then the doctor cuts the skin, removes excess tissue, fat deposits and applies stitches. One of the types of upper eyelid plastic surgery is upper blepharoplasty with canthopexy - an operation to change the shape of the eyes, that is, to form the fashionable "fox look" effect.
