“Buttock Augmentation” – A Special Technique Exclusively at Lelux Hospital

The incision is very small—about 3–4 cm—and can be easily concealed, blending naturally with the crease. The silicone implant is inserted under the muscle, which is the recommended method because it produces a natural appearance, with no palpable edges due to the muscle, fat, and skin covering it.

However, some other places may create two incisions on the sides of the buttocks, which are easily visible, and insert the implant in a more superficial layer or above the muscle, leading to issues such as visible implant edges, bulging, deformity, hardness, implant shifting, or implant flipping. It may also look unnatural. Additionally, if the surgeon lacks experience, there is a risk of injuring nerves, which may cause numbness in the legs.

If the patient has sufficient buttock tissue but wants wider hips, the implant is positioned more toward the outer area.

Pre-Operative Preparation

Post-Operative Care

After the wound dressing is opened, clean the incision daily until the stitch removal day.

Remove the bandage on day 2 or 3, and avoid getting the plaster wet.

In the second week, you may sit on a soft cushion.

After about 10 days, you can resume normal daily activities.

Pain around the buttocks may occur for 1–3 months.

You will no longer feel the implant as a foreign object within 6–8 months.
