Laparoscopic Radical Nephrectomy
Laparoscopic radical nephrectomy is a minimally invasive surgical procedure involving the complete removal of the affected kidney using advanced laparoscopic techniques through small incisions. This approach allows surgeons to treat kidney tumors or severe kidney diseases while minimizing surgical trauma.
Compared to open surgery, laparoscopic nephrectomy may provide advantages such as smaller incisions, reduced postoperative pain, shorter hospital stay, and faster recovery.
The procedure is performed with the assistance of one surgical assistant and includes an average inpatient hospital stay of 4 days, depending on the patient’s recovery and clinical condition.
