Dr. Dr. Schahram Schamsawary is dual-qualified (MD and Dr. med. dent.). He specializes in head and neck and maxillofacial surgery, oral and aesthetic plastic surgery, orthognathic surgery, dental implantology, skin cancer, and post-oncological facial reconstruction. He is the Founder and Director of the Clinic for Oral, Maxillofacial and Aesthetic Plastic Surgery in Meerbusch (since 2013). He previously served as a consultant at Fachklinik Hornheide, Münster.
Accreditations: Registered Implant Expert (Hangzhou 2017; Kunming 2021). Registered Maxillofacial Surgeon (Dubai 2016). Registered Oral Surgeon, GDC UK (2015). Licensed medical practitioner in China. Certifications: radiology operation license (X-ray, digital tomography). German TÜV laser certification. License for botulinum toxin and hyaluronic acid. Qualified for surgical treatment of osmidrosis and bruxism.
Clinical scope: Straumann/Branemark implant surgery, orthognathic surgery, facial fracture fixation, complex mandibular and soft-tissue reconstruction, and minimally invasive aesthetic injections. Publications: Guide and Manual for Orthognathic Surgery; Short Guide to Maxillofacial Surgery for Beginners. Education: Semmelweis University, MD (1989–1995) and DMD (1995–1998).
