Excellent medical service. Seen within days of initial contact. Fast, efficient and friendly GI service. Dr Daniela Osuska is a highly skilled endoscopist and GI malignancy expert and fluent English speaker. Unusually the attending nurse also spoke good English. As a retired doctor myself from UK I cannot rate this private GI/gastroscopy and colonoscopy more highly. They also offer routine iv sedation and analgesia for an extra fee which is not always available in Slovakia.

The receptionist was friendly, the nurses were helpful, and especially the doctor — who was professional, patient, and spoke perfect English. It’s difficult to find an English-speaking doctor in Slovakia, so I truly appreciated that.
I went in for a colonoscopy, and everything was perfect. I chose not to use anesthesia, and surprisingly, there was no pain at all. It felt a bit strange at first, but in the end, it wasn’t painful. The doctor showed everything on the monitor during the procedure and explained each step, which really helped reduce any stress.
Before the colonoscopy, the doctor clearly explained how to prepare. The receptionist also sent detailed, step-by-step instructions via email, which made everything easy to follow.
I highly recommend this clinic!

First of all, I would like to thank the head physician, MUDr. Boris Pekarek, for his great professionalism, patience and humanity. He answered my questions, understood the patient's fear and his approach, professionalism and expertise cleared me of any doubts. Painless and under analgesia. Very pleasant, clean environment. From the very beginning, you will be welcomed by a kind and helpful lady at the reception, to the nurse(s), who are an integral part of a great team. I definitely recommend and most of all, thank you!

I had a colonoscopy and gastroscopy and I must say that the entire process – from ordering to the examinations themselves – was excellent. The approach of the doctor, nurse and reception staff was extremely professional, yet very human and helpful.
The clinic has a beautiful, modern environment and brand new, state-of-the-art equipment, which gives a person an even greater sense of security and comfort. Everything was explained to me clearly, the examinations were carried out quickly, without stress and with maximum consideration for my comfort.
I left with a smile and the feeling that I had finally found a place where I would always be happy to return. A big thank you to the entire DrGastro team!
